Study Initiatives & Collaborations

Women’s Reproductive Health using Retinal Vascular Imaging

The morphology of retinal microvasculature is represented by a series of vascular parameters such as retinal vessel calibre, tortuosity, branching angle, and fractal dimension. These parameters have been associated with a range of subclinical and clinical cardio-metabolic diseases. This study uses retinal imaging-based techniques to assess women’s health during pregnancy and to predict the risk of pregnancy complications and associated maternal adverse health outcomes.
