Dr Pang’s research interests lie in women’s and child’s health, with much of her research work focussed on the determinants of human lactation and breastmilk composition, as well as understanding the impact of human lactation on both women’s and child’s health across the lifespan.
Dr Jiaxi Yang
Research Fellow
Dr Yang’s research interest lies at the intersection between Nutritional Epidemiology and Women’s Health with a life-course perspective. Her current work includes: 1) examining lifestyle-related risk factors for cardio-metabolic diseases, and 2) exploring underlying mechanisms of lifestyle on women’s health in conjunction with different types of omics data.

Research Fellow
Dr Liu joined the GloW centre as research fellow, she is working on the epidemiology of cancer in Asian’s women. Her interests include the investigations into risk factors, biomarkers, social determinants, with various cancers, as well the risk prediction, pharmacoepidemiology, and sex disparity, using a variety range of database.
Dr Guoqi Yu
Research Fellow
Dr. Yu is broadly interested in environmental pollutants, nutrition and perinatal health. Currently, his research focuses on the health effects of environmental chemical exposure and nutrition patterns during pregnancy, particularly for the joint effects on glucolipid metabolism. He is also interested in biomarkers and multi-omics (microbiome, metabolome).
