Prof. Zhang is a clinical epidemiologist and an expert in women’s health research. Prof. Zhang’s work unites biochemistry, genetics, nutrition, clinical medicine, and public health. It is at the interface of disease etiology and prevention strategies in women’s and children’s health over the lifespan and across generations. She is leading a multi-disciplinary program focusing on the improvement of women’s health through dietary and lifestyle modifications, omics research, and early screening in general.
Dr. Zhila Semnani-Azad is a Senior Research Scientist at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health, and the Assistant Director for the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine Master of Science in Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine Program. She is passionate about integrating epidemiological methods and precision approaches to better understand factors that impact human health, with a particular interest in multi-ethnic and sex differences.

Dr. Tint obtained MBBS from the Institute of Medicine, Myanmar, and a MSc and a Ph.D. from NUS. Her research focuses on developmental influences on offspring’s metabolic risk, the life-course approach to the epidemiology of bone health, and the integration of understanding of the epidemiology from observational cohorts in developing interventions to reduce the risks of diabetes and improve bone health.
Dr. Losada specializes in science diplomacy. She serves as Senior Assistant Director of International Affairs at GloW, Programme Director of the Paris-NUS Programme, and Senior Lecturer at NUS College, where she teaches experiential learning (GEx Paris) and Women’s Health. She holds a PhD in Political Science from Sciences Po, Paris, and has been a Visiting Fellow at Oxford and the University of Chicago.
